Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

    • Provide HTML/CSS Solutions for the UI implementation compatible with Desktop and Mobile devices
    • Experience in cross-browser, cross-platform markup and layout.
    • Work closely with development team for the dynamic UI implementation in web applications.
    • Understanding of image optimization techniques and web performance improvement.
    • Communicate the daily progress of tasks and risks to Lead/stakeholders.

Minimum Qualification and Experience

    • 3 - 5 years of experience in UI development using HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Photoshop.

Mandatory Skills

    • Demonstrable knowledge of latest client side technologies like HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, JavaScript and jQuery
    • Ability to work seamlessly in a cross-functional team development environment
    • Must be self-motivated, good communicator, comfortable with following direction
    • Understanding of implementing responsive design techniques.

Desired Skills

    • Demonstrable knowledge of libraries/frameworks like bootstrap and foundation.
    • Knowledge of PHP and Yii framework.
    • Knowledge of leading design software like, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc.
    • Knowledge of web application ecosystem and best practices is desirable.
    • Knowledge of usability and accessibility standards like WCAG is desirable.
    • Proficiency in Linux operating system.

Competency Requirement

    • Very strong diagnostics analysis and problem solving abilities and a logical, analytical approach
    • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Excellent ability to learn and pick up new applications and technologies.
    • Good planning, organising & time management skills.
    • Should be a very good team player with good interpersonal skills.
    • Good attention to detail.
