Job Summary

Overview

We re on the lookout for an energetic & dynamic individual who can drive processes like deployment, verification and monitoring applications & services. You will be interacting with all stakeholders to define DevOps processes that shape the development culture. This role would also require you to lend a hand in the ongoing improvement of CI/CD environment provisioning and development workflows. You will ensure that our teams have accurate levels of monitoring and alerting set up for all applications across physical servers, private cloud and public cloud.

Responsibilities

  • Automate, deploy, handle, and maintain cloud-based production systems
  • Ensure the performance, scalability, and security of cloud-based production systems
  • Manage the creation, configuration, and release of production systems
  • Ensure quality before production and provide recommendations for process improvement
  • Troubleshoot systems and provide problem resolution for different applications and platforms
  • Design, maintain and manage tools that automate multiple business processes
  • Management and troubleshooting Linux-based systems
  • Manage Backup and DR Site operations
  • Good Verbal and written communication skills

Skills Required

  • Must have knowledge of AWS, Jenkins, Docker, Git, CI/CD, pipeline, Terraform, ELK, Application deployment
  • Must have knowledge of CloudWatch, PowerShell, AWS CLI
  • A solid foundation of networking, Linux administration, Windows Administration
  • Must have knowledge of DNS and networking
  • Azure, Google Cloud, Other clouds have good knowledge
  • Ansible,EC2,RDS,ELB,S3,EBS,EFS,VPC,Glacier, etc. has added advantage
  • Beanstalk, Lambda, Fargate, WAF has added advantage
  • A scripting language like Pearl, Python, or any other has added advantage
  • Hands-on experience deploying and managing infrastructure with Terraform
  • Ability to learn/use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools
  • Strong bias for action and ownership
