Job Summary We are seeking motivated and dynamic Entry Level Associates for our VoIP and SMS division (www.rigelvoice.com). In this entry-level role, you need not have knowledge of Telecom/Voice/VoIP/SMS. You will be provided on the job training and shall play an essential part in managing network operations for VoIP (Voice Calls) and ASMSC (SMS) Infrastructure. You will help facilitate smooth voice and SMS traffic exchanges while also handling incidents and managing rates. This position offers a unique opportunity for individuals looking to start their technical careers in the telecommunications sector and contribute our company's growth.

  • SMS/Call Routing: Over Soft-switches and ASMSC infrastructure - create/manage vendors from whom traffic is bought; customers to whom traffic is sold; monitor and optimize voice and sms traffic.

  • Rate Management: Manage rates on switches by updating, uploading, inserting price of voice and sms

  • Traffic Monitoring: Help monitor voice and SMS traffic flows, identifying potential issues and escalating to appropriate teams.

  • Incident Management: Manage disputes/incidents related to calls/sms traffic and rates.

  • Data Reporting: Assist in generating basic traffic reports and summaries for internal and carrier partner communication.

  • Learning and Development: Actively learn about VoIP and SMS technologies, protocols, and industry practices to enhance your skillset.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to support the smooth functioning of carrier relationships.




Requirements

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer, Electronics, Telecommunications, Business, Information Technology or similar) is preferred.

  • Communication Skills: Clear written and verbal persuasive communication skills for effective interaction with internal teams and carrier partners.

  • Troubleshooting and Analytical Skills: An interest in analyzing and troubleshooting traffic data and patterns to handle incidents/disputes.

  • Problem-Solving Attitude: Willingness to learn and support the resolution of issues as they arise.

  • Adaptability: Openness to learning and adapting to the dynamic telecommunications industry.

  • Team Player: Strong willingness to learn, adapt, and collaborate within a team-oriented environment.
