In ResMed SaaS we believe the mission of the Identify and Access Management (IAM) Team is to accelerate software delivery by providing a core foundation of security capabilities that enable development teams to create amazing products. We are looking for Senior Security Engineer to that is energetic, creative, analytical, and has a bias towards action. Successful candidates will be able to synthesize a variety of processes and technologies into products that deliver value.

Lets talk about Responsibilities
  • Work closely with IAM Director and Product Owner to understand the vision.
  • Design, implement, and support standard Authorization and Authentication solutions.
  • When custom components are needed: design, develop, test, document, and support Java/Angular solutions.
  • Effectively communicate strategies & trade-offs to senior leaders and be able to hold a technical discussion with the development team.
  • Deliver quality product within agreed upon timelines.
  • Work closely with the InfoSec team on identifying and implementing all security requirements.
  • Frequently leads sub-functional teams or projects and train and mentor junior team members.
  • Code review and/or automate everything!
  • Be both customer-obsessed and a strong advocate for Platform Solutions.
  • Work with architecture and product as needed to develop team roadmaps.
  • Enthusiastic, high-energy individual, self-motivated, people-oriented, and self-directed.
  • Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience developing software.
  • 4+ years of experience working with at least one IAM tool (Okta, Azure AD, KeyCloak, Auth0, Ping, OneLogin, etc.).
  • Strong familiarity with OpenID Connect (OIDC), OAuth2, SAML 2.0, and SCIM.
  • Deep understanding of authentication, authorization, and federation.
  • Experience integrating IAM solutions to webbased and mobile applications.
  • Experience with Java technology and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience with RESTful Web Services using the microservice pattern.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, including the ability to convey ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven track record dealing well with ambiguity, building strategy, effectively prioritizing needs, and delivering measurable results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Demonstrable experience building and shipping high-quality software in a customer centric culture.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Masters degree
  • Knowledge of the Long-Term and Post-Acute Care Industry (LTPAC) a big plus.
  • Previous experience in healthcare IT.
  • Working knowledge of ISO27001, ISO27002, Sarbanes Oxley, HIPPA, and similar security frameworks.
  • Experience with RBAC and ABAC.
  • Experience with Angular, React, Node, or Bootstrap.
  • Experience with cloud services (Azure or AWS).
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps
  • Experience with logging platforms like Elastic Cloud (ELK) or Datadog.
