Responsibilities and Ownership: (Things that the role cannot miss) System Configuration: Assist in configuring and setting up computer systems for new employees. Perform hardware and software installations and updates as per the requirements. Ensure proper functioning of systems and troubleshoot any issues that arise. Network Setup and Maintenance: Assist in setting up and maintaining the network infrastructure. Collaborate with the IT team to ensure network connectivity and smooth operations. Troubleshoot network-related issues and provide timely resolutions. Backline Creation and Management: Support the creation and maintenance of backups for critical systems and data. Ensure proper backup procedures are followed and regularly test backups for data integrity. Assist in restoring data from backups when necessary. Asset Management: Assist in managing and tracking IT assets, including hardware and software inventory. Help maintain an accurate record of asset details, such as serial numbers and configurations. Coordinate with the IT team to streamline asset allocation and retrieval processes. Software Installation and Troubleshooting: Assist in software installation, updates, and license management. Provide basic troubleshooting support to end-users for software-related issues. Escalate complex software problems to the appropriate IT personnel. Basic Networking: Support the maintenance of LAN and WAN infrastructure. Assist in basic network troubleshooting, including connectivity and configuration issues. Collaborate with the IT team to ensure network security and data protection. Job Requirement PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Basic understanding of computer systems, hardware, and software. Familiarity with network concepts and protocols. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Enthusiasm to learn and contribute to the IT operations of an e-commerce business.
