Role and Responsibilities
As a Fraud Analyst, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our platform and protecting our customers from fraudulent activities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Fraud Detection and Prevention: Monitor transactions and merchant activities to identify potential fraud and take immediate action to mitigate risks.
- Dispute Resolution: Handle transaction disputes and chargebacks, working closely with banks and customers to resolve issues and minimize losses.
- Customer Support: Interact with merchants and customers to address queries, resolve concerns, and provide excellent customer service.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance fraud prevention strategies, reduce losses, and improve overall efficiency.
- Data Analysis: Analyze transaction data to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies that may indicate fraudulent activity.
Skills and Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in risk management, fraud analysis, or transaction monitoring
- Strong understanding of payment processing and fraud prevention techniques
- Proficiency in using customer support tools like Freshdesk
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
