Cognos Developer Job in Ray Business Technologies Pvt Ltd

Primary Focus

• Liaise with the business area to understand reporting requirements
• Implement changes to all affected Cognos and TM1 reports
• Implements TM1 planning & Budgeting model with role base security
• Provide consultations to BI Team on how to improve the delivery and insight of BI reports
• Understand future IT solution for advanced build, delivery and testing of key BI & Finance models.
• Provide L2 and L3 Support to existing BI Solutions and Reports. Cater to new Change requests
• Change in Metadata modelling (both relational and dimensional
• Work closely with onshore team members to ensure the insights which come from data analytics is addressing the questions business want answered and facilitating improved decision making
• Reporting directly to solution architect-bi & analytics, IT the incumbent will need to ensure all responsibilities are completed successfully and delivered.

Experience and Key skills

• 5-8 years demonstrated Cognos Experience. 1+ Year experience in Cognos 11
• 2-3 years demonstrated TM1 Experience ( 10.2 preferred)
• Proficiency with SQL queries
• Strong in Dimensional modelling
• Highly developed Communications skills
• Should have prior experience of working in Onshore Offshore model
• Requirements gathering, analysis and system design experience including knowledge of contemporary database analysis and design principles
• Highly developed technical analysis and problem solving skills
• Proven experience and knowledge in the Software Development Life-cycle.
