ESRI GIS technical consultant(ESRI GIS developer)

At least 2 full life cycle implementations of ESRI GIS (9.x or above) working as a technical consultant with development experience.

Knowledge of PL/SQL developing queries, views, tables, triggers and procedures

Proven documentation skills with ability to create high-quality and complete project documents

Strong communication skills, written and verbal

Recommended Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:

Proficiency of ESRI GIS software ArcMap 10.x

Experience using python and VBA in ArcMap.

Knowledge of PL/SQL developing queries, views, tables, triggers, and procedures

An understanding of the definition, projection, and application of different coordinate systems for both feature datasets and imagery in ArcGIS

Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities

Ability to grasp new technical concepts quickly

Strong communication skills, written and verbal

Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

The following experience considered an asset:

Experience with GDi application

Experience with Citrix XenApp 7.x

Experience with Skelta workflow engine

Experience with FME Desktop and/or server

knowledge of ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Collector and Survey123

knowledge ArcObjects, VB.NET, ASP.NET, Javascript, HTML

Responsibilities:

1. Data loading and conversion.

2. Cartography (map production)

3. Performs spatial analysis of geographic data using ESRI programs.

4. Administer Enterprise Geodatabases

5. Administer all aspects of ArcGIS Server, Portal, and Insight, including performance monitoring and tuning, service configuration, security, and licensing.

6. Apply application patches and service packs, as necessary.

7. troubleshoot GIS software, custom application, and other system components

8. License monitoring, web services configuration and support.

9. Solution deployment (Desktop and web applications)

10. Create/execute/evaluate system tests to ensure solution quality.

11. Designs, creates, and maintains GIS tools written in VBA, XML, Python, C# or other similar programs.

12. Develops and maintains documentation of GIS tools and data.

13. Collaborates with Information Services staff on changes associated with system implementations, conversions, and upgrades.

14. provide daily technical support for Customized GIS applications and GIS User Support.

15. Performs other duties as assigned."
