Prior experience in migrating from Teradata to BigQuery or Informatica ETL to Cloud DataFusion/BigQuery SQL

Certification: Professional Data Engineer Preferred (Atleast 1 GCP certification is must that can include, GCP Associate Cloud Engineer, Prof. Data Engineer or GCP Architect)

14-18 years of experience in the data engineering

3+ years of Hands-on experience in GCP cloud data implementation

Strong experience and understanding of very large-scale data architecture, solutioning, and operationalization of data warehouses, data lakes, and analytics platforms.

Involved in atleast one cloud migration project and experience with data platform modernization

Extensive hands-on experience working with data using SQL, Python

Ability to write complex SQL to perform common types of analysis and aggregations

Ability to do debug and do the root cause analysis for complex BigQuery SQL

Experience in performance tuning BigQuery SQL/Stored Procedures

Experience in data modelling using BigQuery native data types and improve the performance of BigQuery SQLs by adapting the BQ data model

Experience in developing/tuning Cloud Composer DAG's & orchestration workflows

Good exposure CI/CD methodologies and using tools such as Cloud Build/Run/Source etc

Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to clearly present ideas, concepts, and solutions and articulate to customers "
