Job Summary
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in storage and backup administration, preferably in enterprise environments.
- Proficiency in administering storage arrays from vendors such as Hitachi, EMC, NetApp, or Dell.
- Experience with backup software and technologies such as Veeam Backup and Replication, or Commvault, Data Domain
- Strong understanding of SAN and NAS protocols, including Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS, and SMB.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools and scripting languages for task automation and orchestration.
- Certification in Ansible/Terraform will be added advantage.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and their integration with storage and backup systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze complex storage and backup issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
