Responsibilities
1.Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers
2.Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP/WordPress modules
3.Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
4.Integration of data storage solutions {{may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.}}
5.Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
Skills and Qualifications
1.Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks & WordPress {such as CodeIgniter depending on your technology stack} (Must Have)
2.Understanding the fully synchronous behaviour of PHP
3.Understanding of MVC design patterns (Must Have)
4.Excellent knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript/jQuery (Must Have)
5.Knowledge in using MVC architecture and OOPs concepts to build scalable modular applications is a GOOD TO HAVE
6.Understanding accessibility and security compliance.
7.Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions. (Must Have)
8.Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
9.User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
10.Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
11.Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds(Must Have)
12.Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
13.Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages (Must Have)
14.Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git/SVN
15.Should have 2-3 years exp in core PHP
