TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES: Plastics/BIW knowledge (injection molded, thermoformed, pressure formed) Vehicle regulations knowledge (ECE & FMVSS) Pro duct development knowledge Team center Knowledge Vis-pro & Vis mock-up knowledge PLM/Enovia knowledge Working knowledge on A2Mac1 and Benchmarking website Responsible: Value Optimization for INTERIOR COMMODITY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Drive Engineering, Purchase, SCM to generate ideas, and complete technical & Commercial feasibility. Monitor progress from idea generation to Industrialization. Drive the Value Optimization Engineers from Interiors Commodity Engineering Development knowledge on APQP process, ensure all deliverables to achieve project milestones. Should to be capable to understand DVPR/DFMEA for new or redesign components Should be capable to understand the DFM, DFA requirements. Should be capable of monitoring the ideas from Initial to Implementation phase in line with project timeline. Should be capable of reading Moldflow, supplier FMEA & other validation reports Coordinating with cross-functional team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines and schedules. Execute the project plan, implement mechanisms to measure, record progress, and conduct ongoing analysis of risks and changes, as well as update/revise the project plan and report status. Should be willing to visit plant and supplier locations for trials and other support whenever required Support for Value optimization for cost & weight reduction for IAP programs Benchmarking of Competitor products and propose feasible cost saving measures.
