Your Future Role at QRT

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our Data Engineering team. You will contribute to designing, building, and scaling our data platform with a focus on developing a new data pipeline framework. Your work will directly impact our trading and research capabilities, collaborating with engineers and researchers to create robust, scalable solutions.

While prior experience with financial data is a plus, it is not mandatory. We welcome talented developers from diverse backgrounds and provide comprehensive training.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust data services following best software engineering practices.
• Write automated tests to ensure reliability and support continuous delivery and integration.
• Maintain and scale delivery and integration pipelines.
• Develop reusable libraries and tools to enhance the Data Engineering team s productivity.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including researchers and engineers, to propose and implement new features in the data platform framework.

Your Present Skillset

• Strong programming skills with a passion for software design and architecture, preferably in Python.
• Experience with testing frameworks and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational database concepts.
• Knowledge of modern data lake and lakehouse technologies such as Apache Iceberg, Delta Lake, or Snowflake.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a small, close-knit team environment.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
