Experience and desired skills:

• Must have 8+ years of experience in leading a team of cloud engineers and DevOps engineers
• Must have at least 5+ years of experience in mentoring and hand-holding a team of 10+ engineers
• Must have at least 5+ years of experience in Cloud platform automation using scripts, serverless functions and integration experience with 3rd Party APIs, Webhooks etc.
• Must have experience in developing processes to manage operations, assist in technical standards development, architecture development, and technical capability development
• Must have working experience on services such as VM instances, VPC, Cloud Armor, Load Balancer, Stackdriver, Logging, Monitoring Infrastructure and Applications
• Understands Compute, Network, Storage, Databases, Containers, DevOps, Security Operations, Kubernetes, Micro-services on public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP and Azure
• Experience in Cloud Operations on at least 2 Cloud Platforms with GCP being mandatory is a MUST.
• Advanced communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate appropriately with leadership and internal stakeholders is a MUST
• Agile mind-set, with attitudes of respect, collaboration, focus on delivering value, and the ability to adapt to change

• 3+ Experience with DevOps and Agile engineering practices
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with a programming language : Python, Node, Java, Go etc.
• Should have an idea about designing, deploying and operating highly available, scalable and fault-tolerant systems using Public Cloud Platform Services such as AWS, Azure and Google Cloud.
• Experience in designing and implementing cloud platform native security services for managing cloud security posture, compliance, SOAR, threat management etc.
• Hands-on experience with Back-end engineering /API development using any of one high-level language like java, python, net, REST/SOAP-based web services understanding and implementation
• Application Security knowledge is a must
• Familiarity in Unix/Linux development environments & tools including scripting & process management.
• Design and implementation knowledge in NoSQL and SQL databases is a huge plus
• Willingness to learn from juniors and fellow team members is a MUST
• Certifications: At least one of the following is a MUST:
  • Google Certified Associate Cloud Engineer
  • AWS SysOps Administrator
  • Azure Administrator

Domain and Process:

• Understand project-specific requirements, standards, guidelines, and processes
• Must have experience in ensuring continuous service improvement, measure KPIs, prepare service delivery reports, quality management processes and audits.
• Ability to work with fellow solution architects to achieve a common team objective is a must
• Ability and experience to participate in applied research & development efforts is a must
• Ability to prepare knowledge base articles, SOW documents, sales and delivery assets is a must
• Ability to prepare solution accelerators is a must
• Familiarity with industry compliance and security standards including PCI DSS, FFIEC, SOC-1&2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GxP and FDA.
• Experience in development, visualizing and using high-level architecture patterns

Experience of using tools like git, Jira, the confluence is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of CloudOps engineers in public cloud platform operational aspects (MUST) such as:
  • User access management, neutralizing overpowered IAM principals
  • Implementing cloud security baselines on AWS, GCP and Azure
  • Own the cost control aspects of large scale cloud projects by performing Cloud financial operations, budgeting, reporting and optimization.
  • Cloud financial operations, budgeting, reporting and optimization
  • Systems hardening with patching and perform Vulnerability Assessments
  • Cloud platform automation using scripts, serverless technologies
  • Integration with 3rd party Applications/ticketing systems with APIs, Webhooks etc.
  • Setup monitoring baselines - metrics, thresholds and alerts using AWS CloudWatch, GCP Stackdriver and Azure Monitor
  • Coordinate with project teams on a periodic basis to identify stale resources and clean up
  • Automate and Standardize to ensure smooth Cloud platform operations
  • Execute inventory and configuration management tasks on public cloud platforms
  • Independent assurance of effective operations along the cloud project lifecycle
  • Collaborate with engineering, project management and other service groups
  • Audit and compliance readiness exercises for programs such as ISO 27001
  • Cloud platform management and evidence collection for CSP Specialization programs
