Responsibilities

  • Identify sales prospects. Generate sales leads
  • Organize and lead sales visits and meetings
  • Identify and pursue project opportunities / suitable PSU tenders
  • Continually meet with existing customers and manage customer relationships
  • Gather necessary information for proposal / bid development
  • Develop proposal, support & co-ordinate the associated efforts
  • Participate in proposal submission
  • Facilitate project acquisition meetings/ negotiations / pre-bid meetings
  • On Project Completion: Gather Project Completion Certificates & develop Projects Factsheets
  • Develop and maintain other company literature (presentations, reference lists, website, newsletter, etc.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets defined for each financial year
  • Develop and maintain a healthy and trusting relationship with customers
  • Develop new business areas and new customers

Requirements

Qualifications andExperience:

  • Graduate Degree in Engineering (Chemical , Mechanical preferred)
  • Over 5-10 years design and engineering or project management experience for the oil & gas, petrochemical/refinery or chemical sector
  • Prior experience in business development helpful

  • Understanding of design and engineering activities
  • Enthusiastic, highly motivated self-starter
  • Flair for interacting with people, addressing meetings, making presentations
  • Excellent communication skills in verbal & written English
  • Must have a pleasant personality and an optimistic mind set
