Manager Rotary & Package Job in Quanta Process Solutions Pvt. Ltd.

Responsibilities

• Performs discipline check and Inter-discipline check of documents. Ensures that the required integrity and quality of the work is maintained. Familiar with the Quality/HSE Management system and their procedures
• Ensures timely corrective actions for the identified non-conformities.
• Reviews Client s documents / contract requirements for proper understanding of requirements for project execution.
• Executes the engineering & design works within budget and schedule.
• Keeps a track of consumed engineering hours with reference to actual progress. Points out if some missing or contradicting data is affecting the progress.
• Co-ordinates with other disciplines & resolves the engineering issues. Provides engineering inputs during all design phases including interpretation and application of standards.
• Actively communicates with other disciplines to optimize areas of interface, during the design development, review, and check processes. Ensures design packages meet the relevant safety, environmental & ergonomic standards.
• Discusses with support engineers and designers regularly on scope, engineering hours, resources, and schedule etc.
• Prepares material requisitions, evaluate technical bids & reviews Vendor / third party documents.
• Participates in the Technical reviews and progress review of projects. Familiar with the Company procedures and international standards & codes.
• Maintains proper record of documentation to ease quick retrieval.
• Visits Clients, attends seminars/ workshops and makes technical presentations
• Reviews the scope of work and seeks clarifications for ambiguous / Incomplete / incorrect /contradicting information.
• Assists Department Head in preparing engineering hour estimates.
• Provides input to the project execution planning and scheduling.
• Identifies project specific engineering and design elements which requires sub-contracting.
• Mentors and develops junior staff to fulfil discipline engineering roles, helps facilitates team building.

• Preparation of Engineering Datasheets for equipment
• Preparation of RFQ for Rotary and package item.
• Review of work done by engineer.

• Preparation of engineering deliverables: Material requisition/Request for Quotation document for Rotary & Package equipment.
• Review and clarification of vendors offer.
• Interface engineering with other disciplines (Process, Piping, Civil, Electrical & Instrumentation).
• Technical bid analysis by aligning technically vendors offer.
• Vendor document review & Approval.

Requirements

Qualifications andExperience:

• Experience: Min 15-20 years
• BE/ME Mechanical from recognized university & throughout 1st class

Key Skills:

• Should be familiar with codes and standards of ASME, API and ANSI.
• Should have knowledge of API 610, ISO 5199, ANSI B73.1 for centrifugal pumps and API 675 for Positive displacement-controlled volume pump, Rotary equipment packages, Compressor, Blower, Chiller, Cooling Tower, ETP, STP, WTP, Fire Water Pumps, EOT/ HOT cranes, Air Compressor Package, Nitrogen Generation Package, Ejector, Agitator, Mixer
