Responsibilities:

As a Lead Performance QA Engineer, you will be leading the performance engineering team of the Security Analytics Product. This is a great opportunity to be an integral part of a team building Qualys next generation Micro-Services based technology platform processing over a 100 million transactions and terabytes of data per day, leverage open-source technologies, and work on challenging and business-impacting projects.

Qualifications:

• 8-10years of experience with performance testing and benchmarking in a QA and/or application development environment.
• Experience in doing performance benchmark testing on Big-Data components like Hadoop, Kafka,Hbase, Spark, microservices, caching services, databases, NoSQL, search and etc.
• Experience with developing performance frameworks for web-based applications (SaaS experience preferred).
• Strong experience with performance test tools (JMeter experience desired)
• Strong experience with performance monitoring tools(like Grafana, Prometheus etc.)
• Strong experience with performance and stress testing in a Linux environment.
• Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux internals.
• Java Performance profiling experience
• Strong Application and Database debugging experience
• Experience in Micro-service Performance testing
• Strong experience in UI and API Performance testing and tuning
• Experienced with Apache/Tomcat web servers and web application development.
• Must be proficient with HTML, XML, HTTP, and HTTPS protocols.
• Detailed knowledge of relational databases (Oracle) and SQL queries.
• Practical programming experience in SQL
• Must be a critical thinker with excellent verbal and written skills.
• Java, Pythonprogramming a huge plus.
• TCP/IP and network knowledge and troubleshooting.
• Strong experience in SQL query debugging for the Performance parameters
• Should have worked on SQL query tuning and overall DB performance techniques.
• Strong knowledge on Cloud computing concepts like AWS, Azure, GCP.
  

Additional Plus Competencies

• Prior experience in SecurityAnalyticsin Big Datais huge plus.
