Description

We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to help build next generation SecurityAnalytics productfrom ground-up.

Working with a team of engineers and architects, you willbe responsible forprototyping, designing,developingand supporting a highly scalableSaaSbased Security Analytics product.

This isa great opportunityto be an integral part of a team building Qualys next generation Micro-Services based technology platform processing over a 100 million transactions and terabytes of data per day,leverageopen-sourcetechnologies, and work on challenging and business-impacting projects.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be Designing anddeveloping NextGenSecurity Analytics Product in the cloud from ground-up.
  • Primary focus is on highly scalable search andaggregationframework design on top of search platform.
  • Produce high quality software following good architecture and design principles that you and your team will find easy to work with in the future.
  • Working with BigData technologies Kafka and Elasticsearchor any other Search and DB technologies
  • To develop search operators which will help analyst to use it.
  • Design, develop,maintainproducts to build large scale tera bytes of indexes while giving fast searching in Java.
  • Researching and implementing for code design, adoption ofnew technologiesand skills.
  • Youwill becreatinghigh-performance RestfulAPIsto be consumed by external partners.
  • You will be building highly scalable Micro-services that interacts with Qualys Cloud Platform

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 7+ years of JAVA development experience with microservices architecture.
  • 5+ years of experience in Spring/Spring-boot.
  • 3+ years of experience in Elastic Search/Solr/Lucene.
  • 3+ years of experience in Docker/Kubernetes.
  • 1+ year of experience in distributedBquery engine.
  • Experience in create search operators
  • Experience inLinuxand shell scripting.
  • Strong logical skills for code design and implementation.
  • Writing high-performance,reliableand maintainable code.
  • Experience in designing,developingand deploying scalable solutions.

Good to have:

  • Knowledge of CICD tools like Jenkins or Bamboo.
  • Knowledge ofdevopstools like Ansible, Terraform, Helm charts.
