Job Summary Project Tasks Execution Requirement gathering and Project Planning. o Work with customer to gather technical and non-technical application details required for agent deployment and configuration. o Perform data validation and Understanding User Journey. Platform and Components Installation o Install different components of APM Tool and validate internal working of tool. o Perform agent installation as per the defined best practices. o Instrumenting application other than Java and .Net o Calculating license for new applications / components and set up a process for License Management. Basic and Advance Configuration in APM Tool. o Transaction Configuration and other tool specific configuration related to Application Monitoring. o Configuring Database, End User Monitoring and Synthetic Monitoring. o Log Analytics. o Configure data collectors based on class/method or HTTP parameter to enable business context in monitored applications. o Using these to create user journey and add in dashboards. Creating Alerts and Dashboards. o Creating alerts by adding threshold values or on baseline values. o Creating Dashboards using different KPI's for different Roles. Create Incident Tracker, Risks Register and calculate Effectiveness of Monitoring. o Create Incident Tracker and check if current monitoring is helping team in identifying incident before user reports. o If not, then mature current monitoring solution to cover this. o Create Alert tracker to fine tune alerts and reduce false positive alerts. Integrations and extension deployments. Develop extensions as per the given additional monitoring requirements. Identify Blind spots and baseline application performance. o Check with application team if any change in Application Architecture to incorporate in Monitoring. o Create a baseline and after improvements in Application compare with baseline. L2 Root Cause Analysis. o Find RCA for L2 and above issues and Create RCA repor
