What you will do

IT Delivery Manager Commercial Engineering Services will be responsible for the planning, coordination and successful delivery and deployments of the global commercial applications across all divisions, functions, and regions. Coordinates with PMO Lead, Delivery Leads, and System Integrator(s), to drive the commercial products through end to end delivery and deployment. He will lead commercial Engineering Services team on technology best practices, reusability, environment strategy, release management and ensure smooth release of commercial application on stage and production environment.

What you need

• Work closely with System Integrator(s) to ensure alignment of key program activities and milestones for deployment and production releases.
• Oversee and ensure completion of all business and program cut-over activities.
• Lead Technical governance team ensure strong set of technical standards be defined, best practices, conventions, and design patterns that must be followed. Enforce projects go through Technical Review Checkpoints to confirm standards are followed and ensure consistency of design and data model usage.
• Lead Release Management team who manage the movement of Project Deliverables, Deployments, and Resolve Conflicts while propagating the body of work from projects and support teams through the Environment Strategy for our Software as a Service Platforms.
• Enabling multiple parallel project workstreams in addition to continuous improvements, minor enhancements, and production support requires a robust Version Control and Deployment process.
• Ensure adequate testing is completed for each release within an ever-growing pool of personas and user population is to automate our testing
• Drive informed decision making for large cross-functional projects.
• Collaboration with Build leads/ key stakeholders and drive team to perform activities following company's Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) framework and processes
• Looks beyond the obvious for continuous improvement opportunities and provide overarching guidance and leadership on the technical and design aspects of the solutions.
• Creates, coordinates and influences the deployment communication plans, including Go Live readiness, change management, cutover, and stabilization
• Works with divisional and regional deployment leads and IS teams to manage and prepare each division or region for solution readiness, data cleansing, data migration and training
• Manages and coordinates with external suppliers and deployment partners to ensure they meet their contracted deliverables, agreed upon timelines, and metrics.
• Working with PMO, Delivery Leads, Process Leads, and Change management, develop standards, tools and systems to effectively and efficiently manage the deployment of the commercial products across divisions, functions, and regions
• Works closely with Service Delivery teams to ensure implementation of post-production support model and processes
• Communication within IT teams is critical for both day-to-day events and building out new solutions
