General Manager Projects Civil- E Commerce Warehousing Projects Job in Quadrangle

A reputed real estate investment, development and management firm is looking to hire a General Manager Civil and PEB for its mega warehousing project.

JOB LOCATION: Delhi/ NCR

COMPENSATION- 17-23 Lacs (Negotiable)

MUST HAVE- an academic degree in engineering (civil + structural) and 15-20 years of work experience on warehousing and PEB building projects. Should have handled end-to-end warehousing project for any E commerce retail company, please note this is a mandatory requirement for the role. Experience in product design, pre-construction process (including statuary approvals) procurement processes, tendering, contract negotiations, construction management, and cost control and project management on site. In-depth understanding of warehouse buildings and structural steel works including load calculations, design parameters etc.

JOB ROLE-

Business risk management: Knowledge of how to assess and mitigate risks in a business environment.

Project & construction management: Knowledge of how to initiate, plan, execute, organize, manage, control and close a project.

• Software relevant for Construction: Knowledge of tools for timeline management document management, design management and other common software (e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Projects, Rivit, AutoCAD)

Cost control: Knowledge of how to implement a budget till the final cost estimate; included the knowledge of appropriate tools, Cost Groups, cost benchmarking and how to recognize and prevent any deviation

• Timeline management: Knowledge of how to set a realistic timeline for a construction site, and how to recognize and prevent any deviation
• Construction Procurement and Market: Knowledge of the internal procurement procedures in regards to construction activities within the project included the knowledge of the local construction market in Delhi NCR.
• Permission process: Knowledge of local and national authority permission process in regards to design and construction activities throughout the project development, included the knowledge of processes, ways of working, bye-laws, rules etc. specially Building Bye Laws, Environment Clearance, CTE, CTO, Tree Transplantation etc.
• You will lead and manage all construction aspects of a specific warehousing project from start to finish securing delivery of a safe, compliant, sustainable and innovative property solution based on business needs.
