Job Description About Us ( In stealth mode, well capitalized with leading fintech investors in our seed ) is building a software orchestration layer to simplify financial operations and treasury management for cross-border B2B businesses. Our solutions will enable small and medium sized exporters/ importers to manage and improve their global payment collection operations, simplify receivables/ net terms management and access capital to unlock their full growth potential Context Cross-border trade is a complex and fragmented landscape with a very long-tail of underserved small and mid-sized businesses. While these SMEs contribute 30-40% of the total payment flows in cross-border trade, they remain largely underserved by traditional financial services players. Banks, payment services and liquidity providers continue to focus on products and services addressing the needs of large businesses (high volume segment), and these solutionsare often only partially suitable and typically overpriced for SME needs. When it comes to money movement, risk and liquidity management, B2B businesses globally - and SMBs and fast growing businesses particularly - today face a difficult choice. Either: they can leverage legacy financial service providers for products and services that are an imperfect fit for their needs (primarily designed for enterprise/corporates and optimally priced at high volumes) with poor experience and opaque costs OR they can use a combination of banks and fintech/SaaS solutions to solve different parts of the problem, and while this option might provide a better immediate solution for their needs, it often adds layers of hidden administrative and tech development costs over time as the business nowneeds to manage a patchwork financial tech stack with multiple interfaces. Every dollar and every minute that these businesses have to spend on managing costs/ tech/ process overheads on money movement or troubleshooting basic treasury operations is resources that are being taken away from their core business operations. We started because we believe that these businesses deserve a better alternative.
