Job Description

We are looking for SRE Engineers as part of our cross-functional team to develop, automate, deploy and monitor real-world solutions. They will closely engage with the application development team and improve the lifecycle of cloud services - from design to deployment, operation and refinement.

Responsibilities

• Strive for automation either by coding it or by leading and influencing developers to build systems that are easy to run in production
• Maintain services by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health
• Play an important role in scaling systems sustainably through automation and evolving them by pushing for changes to improve reliability and velocity
• Move Fast by Reducing Cost of Failure (Automation of testing, releases, infrastructure creation and monitoring)
• Develop new innovative frameworks, services, integrations, and platforms that enable our teams to operate seamlessly across the business
• Proper communication to QBurst partners during any disruption of normal operations and timely service restoration
• Provide a reliable service with an enterprise-level SLA and strive for client delight

Requirements

• Sound experience with Docker, Kubernetes (On Prem and Cloud)
• Working knowledge of deployment, maintenance and monitoring of Microservices, Serverless, Containers
• Knowledge in Linux (must have) and Windows Operating Systems
• Hands-on experience in working with SQL and NOSQL databases (clustering, partitioning etc.)
• Experience in designing and building solutions with high availability and disaster recovery management
• Infrastructure provisioning, management and automation tools as Code / Automation tools (e.g. Ansible, Terraform)
• Platforms and tooling for build, CI/CD infrastructure and operations (e.g. Azure Pipeline, Jenkins)
• Experience in server monitoring
• Proficient in Azure/ GCP (Preferred) or AWS platforms
• Good understanding of security concepts at scale
• Deep knowledge in Linux Server administration
• Experience in scripting languages such as Python or Bash
• Good knowledge in web and application servers (Tomcat, JBoss)
