Job Description:

  • Oracle architecture understanding and database administration.
  • Oracle software installation, upgrades, patching, database creation & configuration.
  • User managed & RMAN backup, Restore and recovery
  • Database performance troubleshooting and fix
  • Dataguard administration & configurations
  • Oracle multi-instance (RAC) installation, configuration & administration
  • Should have very good understanding of Oracle database security (users, profiles, privs, roles etc)
  • VLDB Database migration experience with TTS, DR build, RMAN restore, BCV backup etc.
  • Unix experience is must and has good understanding of shell scripting.
  • Any other RDBMS (MySQL, SQL server, Sybase, DB2, Informix, MongoDB etc) experience would be an added advantage.
  • Oracle Exadata/Goldengate experience/knowledge would be an added advantage.

The candidate should have good communication skills, both verbal and written. Demonstrate creative problem solving and analytical abilities.
Minimum qualification requirement

Preferred - 10 years skill with 4+ years experience

Required - Bachelor's or higher education

Preferred - Located in Hyderabad

Preferred - Good command over English
