CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE CIVIL CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE

QUALIFICATION : B.E. / B.Tech Civil Engineering.

EXPERIENCE : 5 to 10 years.

LANGUAGE : English, Tamil and Hindi.

SALARY : CTC 5,00,000 9,00,000 per annum.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of the project overall project deliverables timely completion, cost control, quality of construction and project safety.
  • Manage the budget and estimate costs.
  • Determine the necessary equipment, materials, and manpower needed.
  • Keep track of inventory, tools and equipment.
  • Ensure supplies and equipment are ordered and delivered according to schedule
  • Prepare reports regarding job status.
  • Resolve any issues that may arise during the course of the project in an effective manner.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
  • Evaluate risks.
  • Train and mentor construction workers and construction laborers depending on the size of the project.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, architects and key team members of the project team.
  • Negotiate with external vendors on contract agreements.
  • Obtain the appropriate permits and licenses from authorities for construction sites.
  • Plan construction operations.
  • Ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Hire contractors and staff including construction labourers.
  • Delegate responsibilities to sub staff efficiently.
  • Allocate and manage resources to ensure that they are available when they are needed throughout the construction projects.
  • Keep all stakeholders aware of the progress on projects and prepare progress reports regularly.
  • Handle any environmental or local community issues that may come up during a project
  • Conduct site checks to monitor progress and quality standards
  • Single point of contact for the customer for project deliverables, responsibilities and communications.
  • Oversee the overall quality of construction.
  • Plan the detailed project schedule and resources in periodic organized manner.
  • Liaise with head office team for procurement of materials and subcontractors.
  • Manage a team of engineers, operators, foreman, QC, safety officers and storekeepers to meet the project deliverables.
  • Organize construction labour and supervise their work as per the quality and productivity standards. Supervise subcontractor works.
  • Manage the site budget, timely billing, certification, change order claims and overall cost control.
  • Oversee the safe working as per prescribed safety standards at site.
  • Oversee the quality control and field testing as per the prescribed quality standards at site.
  • Liaise with architects, consultants and clients for drawings, approvals and clearances. Attend weekly review meetings and update head office on the meeting discussion and action points.
  • Maintain project records and documentation.
