Job Summary Roles and Responsibilities

  • Deploy, Administer, Support, and maintain middleware applications to enable communication between applications on diverse platforms with varying interfaces.
  • Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and configuration of JBOSS EAP, JBOSS JON and EWS environments.
  • Assess and identify appropriate changes and make recommendations for implementation.
  • Perform JBOSS EAP, EJB etc system administration, troubleshooting, monitoring, problem resolution, system security and change implementation.
  • Perform JBOSS installation, administration, and documentation.
  • Plan, prepare and apply maintenance fixes and upgrades to JBOSS software.
  • Provide system support including off shift on call support as and when required.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 4+ years experience of the full software development lifecycle.
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
  • Java with EJB is a Plus
  • Good Knowledge on Standalone and domain, Hierability and fail over.
  • Experience in SOAP and REST Web services deployment and Configuration
  • Exp of deployment in JBOSS, EAP, Apache Tomcat, WebSphere etc in an Enterprise environment preferred.
  • Should have strong UNIX/Linux operating system administration experience.
  • Experience in deploying clustered, highly available middleware platforms.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
