Job Summary

    What does this role hold for you ??

    • Drive the implementation of the REA Risk Management Framework
    • Develop an annual Audit Plan that includes control testing oversight activities as well as targeted reviews
    • Develop the applicable annual Risk Appetite Statement and limits for approval by the REA Board taking into consideration current and emerging organizational risk appetite and strategic direction
    • Driving a culture that is risk aware and appropriately responsive
    • Provide support to the business by facilitating and managing risk workshops to identify, assess, and report on key risks (primarily for proposed strategic initiatives and/or changes in business/operations)
    • Identify, assess, and provide guidance on emerging risks facing Elara and the industry
    • Assist the Risk Leads in maintaining the Business Unit Risk Profile, including Compliance Obligations, to ensure that potential and current risks faced by the business are articulated, quantified (financial and non-financial), mitigated and monitored.
    • Working across the business, ensure that change throughout the business gives consideration to risks that may arise from this by facilitating the Change Risk Assessment process
    • Major Incident Management - accountable for ensuring that and facilitating where necessary, the Major Incident Management process. Thereby making sure that major incidents are appropriately managed, post incident reviews are conducted and controls identified that require strengthening or implementing
    • Business Resilience - ensure Business Continuity and Crisis Management Plans are developed and maintained in line with Business Continuity & Resilience Policy that includes regular and ongoing testing
    • Analysis and reporting of key information relating to the management of risk exposures by the business
    • Co-ordinate/assist/facilitate reviews performed by internal or external parties, including regulators where appropriate
    • Ensure the resolution of Audit Issues
    • Coordinate and Chair the Elara Management Risk Committee
