Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer with expertise in Node.js and TypeScript to join our team in building scalable, robust, and maintainable backend systems. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications and APIs that power our core products and services. Responsibilities: ? Design and develop efficient and scalable backend APIs using Node.js and TypeScript ? Implement secure and performant data storage and retrieval solutions ? Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code ? Collaborate with frontend developers to create seamless user experiences ? Adhere to TypeScript best practices, ensuring type safety and code quality ? Implement unit tests to validate code functionality and prevent regressions ? Troubleshoot and debug issues in production environments ? Stay up-to-date with the latest Node.js and TypeScript trends and best practices Qualifications: ? Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript ? Excellent understanding of TypeScript features, type system, and best practices ? Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs ? Knowledge of databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and data modeling ? Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha) ? Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills ? Ability to work independently and as part of a team ? Excellent communication and collaboration skills Bonus Points: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Knowledge of microservices architecture Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines Interest in software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum)
