Job Summary Roles and Responsibilities

Key Requirements:

  • 8+ years in a technical related field
  • Rich experience of QOS/MPLS ,OSPF, BGP, L3VPN/L2VPN, IGP, SD-WAN, NetConf, NMS & OSS/BSS protocols.
  • Should have profound knowledge of network planning or optimization and good communication ability.
  • Experience in SDN (NFV), SDWAN (Velocloud / Viptela / Versa or Silver peak) technologies equipment is must
  • Demonstrated experience with LAN/WAN, routing protocols, QoS, troubleshooting, and scripting
  • Industrial certifications in Cisco, Juniper, F5/Riverbed/Fortigate/Palo Alto products/technologies is desirable
  • Demonstration of CCNP/CCNP SP (CCIP)/CCIE level (or higher) knowledge (or vendor alternatives) is must (required or comparable level)
  • Cloud technologies and security services (Zscaler) is desirable
  • VOIP or wireless knowledge is an advantage
  • NEXT-Gen Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet) is welcomed
  • Will be required to work in various shifts(Day/Night) including holidays and weekends. Overtime as needed

Desired Candidate Profile

Responsibilities:

  • Provides advice, assistance and leadership into designs, documents, communicates, and enforces network standards, policies and procedures for standardizing network assets.
  • Participates in network architecture reviews. Convert business requirements to technical requirements
  • Performs detailed designs of new or changing network infrastructure.
  • Develop plans or budgets for network equipment replacement.
  • Research new networking technologies to determine what would best support their organization in the future
  • Establishes guidelines and standards for capacity management review and establishes standards for network operations
  • Troubleshooting network architecture and making recommendations for system findings and enhancements
  • Monitors and plans capacity of all network infrastructures, devices and data circuits to plan for future growth
  • Develops automation scripts and programs to streamline manual operations and reduce manpower requirement in maintenance and monitoring activities
  • Performs troubleshooting and issue resolution and escalate issues to appropriate 3rd party vendor if needed.
  • Design, organize, and deliver product awareness, skills transfer, or product education sessions for staff or suppliers.
  • Draft and maintain procedures and documentation for network support
