Role Overview:
As a Finance Manager at P&G, you will take a key role in setting business strategies, making financial decisions, planning, and analyzing various aspects of the business. You will be involved in key financial functions such as Tax, Treasury, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Corporate Strategy, Accounting, and Internal Controls, among others. This role provides you with a chance to work in a cross-functional team responsible for overseeing a brand, service, or significant project.

Throughout your career, you will rotate through different roles every 2 to 3 years, gaining experience across various business areas, including Supply Chain Finance, Sales Finance, and Research & Development Finance. You will build both functional expertise and leadership skills, with opportunities to work internationally.

Responsibilities:

  • Business Strategy & Planning: Drive business strategies, set financial plans, and analyze business outcomes. You will be responsible for ensuring projects and new initiatives start off successfully and continue to deliver value.
  • Budget & Financial Forecasting: Manage budgets and internal controls, providing financial analysis for new and ongoing projects. Optimize costs, identify opportunities for value creation, and deliver accurate financial forecasts.
  • Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with cross-functional teams to advise and improve decision-making processes that drive business results.
  • Cost Optimization & Benchmarking: Analyze competition and explore cost-saving opportunities. Optimize spending on promotional events, marketing, and other business operations.
  • Long-term Planning: Help develop strategies and plans for business growth that are both profitable and sustainable.
  • Financial Stewardship: Ensure all aspects of your role are performed with a high level of compliance and ethical responsibility.

Qualifications:

  • MBA or CA with strong academic performance
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership skills, and a keen interest in finance
  • Ability to make tough decisions based on comprehensive data and gut instinct
