Lab Scientific Officer Job in Prathama Blood Centre

General Description: LSO will be responsible for the overall laboratory related activities.

Primary Job Function:

• Follow best phlebotomy and aphaeresis practices, ensure 100% blood sample collection, handle donor queries, ensure donor comfort
• Ensure Blood grouping of samples collected, conduct various tests on blood samples to ensure safety of patients




• Ensure cross-matching of every patient s blood sample with donor blood sample, conduct irradiation of blood components, issue required product to patients
• Quarantine entry of product, 100% labelling, ensure bulk packing of plasma for fractionation.
• Ensure calibration of all medical equipment, documentation.

Required Skills:

• Requisite Qualifications
• Able to handle donor related activities
• Good Communication Skills
• Willingness to work evening and/ or night shifts

Experience: Fresher may also apply

Education: DMLT.
