Poshmark is looking for a Chargebacks Associate who will be primarily responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and resolving disputes effectively based on the information available. A Chargeback Associate will review disputes to determine the risk involved with the transactions with the goal of preventing chargeback losses. This person will help evolve our processes & assist in developing scalable solutions to chargeback prevention, trends & activities. Responsibilities: Effectively review, analyze and resolve disputes Investigate and monitor disputed transactions for possible fraudulent behaviors and patterns Provide an in-depth analysis of chargebacks in order to help us evaluate the risk involved Identify tactics that can prevent and reduce claims Collaborate with a cross-functional team to implement prevention measures Interact with the Poshmark community about sensitive issues in a very professional manner 6-Month Accomplishments: Familiar with various Chargebacks processes, and procedures Familiar with all Poshmark internal tools and applications Learn about all fraud types and become comfortable making decisions Work independently and cross-functionally to streamline and improve Chargeback processes 12+ Month Accomplishments: Complete and exceed all 6-month responsibilities Ability to work on all areas of chargebacks independently Become a chargeback specialist Forecast chargeback liability based on the metrics Work on a few ongoing projects at a time Desired Skills: New graduates are welcome 0- 2 years of operational, customer support, or other applicable experience. Excellent verbal & written communication skills Critical observation detailed oriented, ability to research, analyze. Ability to make critical decisions based on limited information Ability to understand customers, situations and resolve conflict Passionate about community & helping our users Collaborative personality Inherently curious Take on additional responsibilities in order to support operations Ability to provide input to improve and streamline processes
