Devops Engineering Manager Job in Platform9 Systems, Inc.

Position Summary: We are looking for an Engineering Manager for our Devops team who has experience building high quality teams that manage SaaS services. At Platform9, we are entering a growth phase and are looking to add a leader who can develop the engineering talent we have, hire difference makers on the team, provide technical guidance and deliver to the business needs. Our team is at the forefront of providing a user experience that delights our customers and we are looking for a leader to help us do this as we scale to the next level. Requirements: A passion for documentation and automation. We have a strong culture of replacing manual processes with repeatable automation 5 years of management or technical leadership experience Experience hiring top devops talent and building teams Experience with building SaaS platforms running on Kubernetes Proven record of building technical roadmaps and executing to them Experience and desire to develop and nurture engineering talent A positive attitude and an ability to work with multiple competing demands on your time Preferred Skills: Experience with cloud computing infrastructure and automation Strong experience with CI/CD processes Establishing OKRs and metrics to track execution progress Comfortable with industry standard practices related to security To succeed in this role you ll need to be a team player with a strong sense of ownership for your work and a passion for working in a data driven organisation.
