Job Summary
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Work full-time in a highly collaborative environment with other skilled software professionals to deliver clients exceptional software and tools to help them improve the way they do business
- You will be designing really great user experiences, working side by side with developers as they take your vision, and specific interaction design details, and build world-class custom software products
- Passionate about user experience and designing/building great products
- You have a knack for seeing the most broken part of an app AND can offer a good idea or two on how to fix it
- Demonstrated ability to design user experiences that your team members can readily turn into products
- Cranks out great wireframes and sitemaps in real time designs
- Can scale wireframes from low to hi-fi: whiteboard photos to gorgeous design specs
- Excels at information design: vanilla reports to n-dimensional interactive charts/maps
- Visually communicates concepts and designs in variety of ways
- Design portfolio showing strong creative skills, ability to generate solid design ideas, and thorough understanding of good design process
- Understanding of HTML and CSS
- Experience using industry standard design tools including Photoshop and PowerPoint Director, Flash or Blended experience
- Experience working closely with product teams and can easily insert herself/himself into the development process to deliver high quality UX
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- BS/BA (Bachelors/Masters Degree) in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or related design field
- 2- 3 years experience as a UX Designer working on a team delivering logos, application layouts, Application designs, icon and UI designs
