Job Summary Job Responsibilities of the Senior PHP Developer

Develop and maintain PHP/MYSQL based websites and applications including bespoke ecommerce websites
Coordinate PHP based project development with the design team
Develop and integrate web API s
Managing projects by assigning tasks to team members and designers
Ensure projects are delivered on time
Testing and bug fixing of web based projects

Profile of the candidate

The candidate should have experience of 2 to 3 years as a web developer specializing in PHP development with experience in relational datbases and implementing payment gateways
Should have the ability to turn in quality code on time and up to expactations.
Above average communication skills in English with an ability to interact with the clients directly.
Should have the ability to work in an Agile enviornment and build a strong team of web developers and web designers.
Should be able to participate in testing and bug fixing of web applications and web services.

Key skills

Knowledge of PHP 5.3 or above and MYSQL
Should have knowledge of OOPHP (Object Oriented PHP Development) and SQL optimization.
HTML, CSS and Javascript knowledge including jQuery, JSON and XML
Ability to develop web services back-end for Mobile Applications.
