Field Service Engineer - North Job in Petrolabs India Private Ltd

Job Requirements: Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform installation & training on new instruments, in-field repairs, upgrades, and calibration of systems
• Responsible for the diagnosis, debug and repair of Analytical Instrument broad line of hardware and software platforms
• Effectively multi-task between multiple repairs at the same time, with minimal supervision
• Follow diagnostic and repair guidelines
• Maintain a professional interaction with customers while working on critical issues
• Interact with the support team to maintain accurate records and transactions for materials and labor used in the repair process
• Maintain the ability for a flexible travel schedule to accommodate last minute changes

Qualifications & Requirements

• 1+ years of experience debugging electro-mechanical products and assemblies
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and Instrumentation Engineering
• Good written and verbal communications skills
• Proficiency in English and Hindi
• Ability to easily learn multiple equipment Software platforms
• Experience with Windows Office, software installation, and basic networks O/S
• 75 % domestic travel expected with occasional international travel
• flexibility in scheduling for longer trips and weekends a plus
