Job Summary Roles and responsibilities : We are looking for a skilled E-Commerce Developer with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in developing, customizing, and managing Shopify and BigCommerce platforms. This role involves designing and implementing high-quality e-commerce solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience and drive online sales. Collaborate with the design and content teams to ensure consistent branding and high-quality user experiences. Implement responsive and mobile-first designs that enhance user engagement. Optimize website performance, load speed, and SEO for better visibility and conversions. Integrate third-party apps, plugins, and APIs to extend platform functionalities. Manage product listings, inventory workflows, and payment gateway integrations. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth website operations. Stay updated on e-commerce trends and recommend innovative features to improve the online store experience. Qualifications and Skills Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in e-commerce development with a focus on Shopify and BigCommerce. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (for Shopify customization). Experience with BigCommerce APIs, Stencil framework, and theme development. Familiarity with backend languages and database structures for e-commerce platforms. Tools & Technologies: Proficiency in integrating and customizing third-party plugins, apps, and APIs. Experience with version control systems like Git. SEO and Analytics: Understanding of SEO best practices and tools like Google Analytics or Tag Manager. Problem-Solving: Proven ability to debug and resolve technical challenges effectively. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience with additional e-commerce platforms such as WooCommerce, Magento, or BigCommerce Enterprise. Experience with front-end frameworks like React is must. Familiarity with payment gateway integrations like Stripe, PayPal, or Razorpay. Exposure to agile methodologies and project management tools (JIRA, Trello).
