Job Description

  • Develop and enhance SAP based mobile applications maximizing shared code across platforms
  • Provide Solution Governance to projects - Influence and provide input and recommendations to solution design. Perform design and code reviews
  • Coordinate and manage SAP related issues across development lifecycle phases
  • Organize and lead Proof of Concepts to demonstrate new and upcoming technologies
  • Identify and develop global, reusable components and services
  • Anticipate and plan for future business / technology changes
  • Drive DevOps approach, including automation where possible
  • Work/collaborate with external vendors, including on-shore and offshore resources
  • Actively engage other Developers in defining optimal solutions

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 6+ years of SAP development experience
  • 3+ years of hands on mobile application design and development with:
    • SAP UI5
    • OData development with ABAP
    • Developing mobile apps with offline data using SAP Cloud Platform Mobile Services / SAP Mobile Platform / SAP Kapsel SDK
    • Mobile Web Technologies experience: Restful Web Services, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JSON
    • Knowledge of Web Tier (LDAP, SSO, Reverse Proxy, Load Balancer)
  • SAP Web Dynpro a plus
  • SAP Mobile Development Kit (SAP MDK) a plus
  • Highly analytical mindset and problem solving skills
  • Very strong communication skills
  • Self-motivated for working and quickly learning the latest technologies
  • High sense of urgency
  • Ability to work collaboratively across project teams
  • Ability to independently plan and organize development work & deliverables
  • Passion for development and building high quality application design and coding
