The Digital team at Pegasystems creates, maintains and continuously improves the websites that help people learn, sell and buy Pega applications. The 5+ digital properties we work on span internal and external audiences across offices in North America, Europe, and the Asia Pacific region.
Picture Yourself at Pega:We're looking for a talented full stack Drupal developer to join our growing global team. You'll work with a diverse team of content creators, developers, and designers to help shape the content editor experience across multiple Drupal 7 and Drupal 8 properties. You'll also be a key member of the Digital Backbone project, which unifies the look and feel across all Pega's digital properties, including both Drupal and Pega implementations
What You'll Do at Pega:- Resolve complex Drupal issues reported on existing production systems.
- Work on Drupal theming layer (CSS, JS, templating) to resolve performance and usability issues
- Work on Drupal back end and Database layer to resolve data integrity, security and performance issues.
- Look at error logs to identify and fix production bugs
- Graduate with five or more years of software development experience
- Strong technical problem solving skills and the ability to work independently on projects when needed
- Advanced knowledge of Drupal, PHP, HTML and CSS
- 3+ years PHP development experience with a CMS preferably Drupal
- 1+ years Drupal 8 experience. Experience building custom modules in Drupal 8
- Familiarity with theming in Drupal 8, including the use of Twig templates and PHP Codesniffer to ensure adherence to Drupal coding standards.
- Familiarity with advanced front-end build tools such as Sass and Webpack is preferred.
- Experience with source control systems including Git
- Passion for learning and applying new technology
- Active in the Drupal community (Drupal.org profile, Github Account, local Drupal Camps/Meetups in India , etc.)
- Hands on DevOps Skills (LAMP Stack, GIT, Bitbucket, Docker, Docsal, Vagrant, etc.)
- Experience implementing Apache Solr Search or Lucidworks Fusion as the search engine for Drupal
