Lead Data Scientist Job in Pboplus Consulting Services Pvt. Ltd.

Role Summary

The role resides with the Data Sciences and Analytics team and is a key player in providing analytical insights, models, data visualizations and analytical direction to shape future strategy of our consulting engagements.

The Decision Sciences & Analytics team has a clear vision-use data to make better business decisions that directly increase Profit of our clients. Leading the effort to research and develop applications for advanced analytics and artificial intelligence, this role will support our mission by significantly enhancing the overall transformation of the business. Working cross-functionally across the organization to deliver on various use cases that positively influence business decisions and direction across various consulting projects. The primary responsibility for this position will be to lead the effort to elevate the advanced analytics, statistical and ML models, and insights delivered to our clients and business partners.

Role Responsibilities

• Definition and deployment of a machine learning environment (20%)
• Develop and Deploy statistical and ML models that influenced business decisions (20%)
• Collaborate with business owners, stakeholders and leadership to methodically transform business problems into detailed and practical analytical requirement (20%)
• Extract, curate, explore and analyse data from large data sources (10%)
• Develop data/analytics algorithms and data structure (10%)
• Identify Data, data sources, pre-process data, develop and Test ML models, Deploy Model to derive the target outcome

Experience Required

• Bachelor s degree in Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research or Similar quantitative field
• Master s degree in Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research or Similar quantitative field
• PhD in Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research or Similar Quantitative field
• Additional certifications in data sciences or analytics related fields
• Patents in the area of data sciences or analytical method

General Skills

• Expert in methods and tools to extract, curate, explore and analyse data from large data sources (e.g. Hadoop, Hive, SQL, SAS, Python, R , Cloudera)
• Deep understanding of advanced statistics and the fundamentals of data/analytics algorithms and data structures
• Proven track record with machine learning (ML) approaches to influence business decisions (SAS, Spark, Azure, Tensor Flow)
• Extensive experience utilizing data visualization tools to effectively communicate key data insights (e.g. Tableau, Qlick, D3, Data wrapper)
• Ability to complete complex quantitative analysis with defined actionable outcomes
• Experience deploying advanced models into a production environment
• Model back-testing, validation and ability to know when a model as degraded beyond the original expected outcomes
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience, both in writing and verbally
• Comfortable working with tight deadlines, must be proactive and able to multi-task
• Successful record of accomplishment of thriving in a fast paced, entrepreneurial and dynamic environment
• Strong communication skills across all mediums and audience types (Technical, business, executives, etc)

• Background or working knowledge Deep Learning and Neural Networks
• Experience or Knowledge in true self learning models
• Experience in developing analytical solutions from non-standard data sources (e.g free form text, paper templates etc.)
