Job Summary

Job title:AVP, Technology

Years of Experience:12 Years

Education Required:At least a bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar qualifications (e.g. MCA)

Role requirement:

Management traits & competencies
Knowledge, Skill sets and competencies in SW Engineering
Good understanding of: 1. Distributed systems, micro-services, messaging systems and associated architectural patterns in Information Technology 2. Object-oriented analysis and design including design patterns and their application in problem-solving. 3. Web and mobile application technology stack 4. Traditional relational databases and modern NoSQL databases. 5. Transactional and analytical workloads
Familiarity with production operations of large-scale systems
Strong understanding of compliance and adherence of SDLC process - with conventional as well as agile methodology

Special skills:

Around 12 plus years of experience in software development & delivery out of which 1. Leading and building at least 1 enterprise SaaS-based product is a must.
2. Managing team of around 30 to 40 software professionals for a period of min. 3 years.
Well-grounded technical understanding & hands-on experience in software development for cloud-based products, multi-tenancy & multi-hierarchy product platform aligning with complete DevOps cycle implementation.
Experience with a complete tool based automated CI/CD environments and automation test frameworks, including hands-on experience of sanitised quality code delivery, code maintenance
Experience of around 2 years in a start-up Tech company will be a strong advantage
