Job Description

• Installation and configuration of Oracle server software and related products.
• Evaluate Oracle features and Oracle related products.
• Maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures.
• Maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges).
• Good Knowledge of database tuning and performance monitoring.
• Perform application tuning and performance monitoring.
• Plan growth and changes (capacity planning).
• Work as part of a team and provide 24 7 support when required.
• Perform general technical trouble shooting and give consultation to development team.
• Interface with Oracle Corporation for technical support and patch management and version Control.
• Good Experience to hand the team and client.
• Having good explorer to handle the work individual.

Skills and competency-
Good exposure in Oracle Database Configuration, Maintenance, Cloning, Patching.
Good exposure in Oracle Database troubleshooting.
Good exposure of Backup and Recovery (Oracle RMAN, Import/Export and Datapump).
Oracle Database Installation 10g/11g on windows and unix environment.
Oracle Database Advanced Installation 10g/11g (RAC and ASM).
Good exposure in Dataguard implementation and maintenance.
Basic knowledge of performance monitoring and tuning.
Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager.
