Job Summary

Job Title: SCM Consultant - Oracle Fusion Procurement Specialist


Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Support core Procurement Modules in Fusion: Self Service Procurement, Purchasing, Procurement Contracts, Inventory, Sourcing, Supplier Portal, Supplier Qualification and Custom bolt on Applications
  • Interfaces Oracle with Unifier, Tejari, fusion and other Applications
  • Work closely with key Projects and Procurement business users to understand requirements and resolve issues around existing processes.
  • Coordinate and participate in system testing for enhancements and patches.
  • Coordinate with team to maintain appropriate user guides and other training materials; conduct new user training and advance training courses.
  • Work with developers to design and test extensions to the Oracle Applications, primarily in developing additional reports and interfaces.
  • Work with Oracle Support and hosting provider to resolve issues

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor s degree Professional Certification in Procurement
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a similar position, with experience in designing, developing, testing, implementing, supporting and providing integrated solutions in various industries.
  • 5+ years of "hands-on" experience in Oracle Procurement Modules with at least 2 end to end implementations.
  • Experience with Oracle workflow, BPM and TAD.
  • Basic form personalization.
  • Experience in working in a Multi Country Oracle environment with multi business group and Ledgers, multiple operating units, organizations, currencies, etc.
  • Exceptional ability to diagnose and solve system problems while maintaining professionalism and courtesy.
  • Adaptable and resourceful, capable of working under pressure to meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Proven interpersonal skills; ability to work productively and professionally with any level of business and technical resources.
  • Self-starter and strong self-initiative to meet project deliverables, overcome issues, and effectively communicate project timelines for deliverable and resources.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Assertive with strong communication and organizational skills.
  • System administration (Custom Roles, Menus, Functions, Users and User category)


Skills:

  • Functional expertise on Oracle SCM
  • Knowledge on Projects and Finance will be an added advantage
  • Functional expertise in Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion


Competencies:

  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a part of implementation of Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) systems Oracle.
  • Possess strong analytical skills, is highly meticulous and someone who has an eye for details.
  • Ability to prioritize time and tasks.
  • Willing to be part of Core Internal Oracle ERP Team to implement & support Super users & End Users whenever needed.
  • Creativity in resolving complex issues surrounding business process and technical challenges.
  • High level of commitment and positive attitude on achieving both departmental and business objectives.
