Job Summary
Job Title: Quality Assurance - Financial Software Tester
Location: Bangalore
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Leading the QA efforts for the implementation of Oracle banking latest modules like OBDX, OBTFPM and OBTF.
- Manage and Drive Overall testing activities i.e., functional, automation, non functional - performance & data migration.
- Defining Application QA Road map, creating test strategy & functional test coverage, test process execution model, test optimization, operating model, and governance model.
- Defining Automation approach, identifying right Automation tool set and coming up with automation targets.
- Formulate performance test approach and strategy.
- Collaborate with Vendor teams, provide accurate defect detail to ensure on time fixes. Provide management oversight and technical support as suitable.
- Support SIT, UAT, regressions, performance tuning and integrations testing.
- Timely defects triaging and closure.
- This position requires active engagement with the entire product organization. It is important to consider business drivers, anticipate roadblocks, encourage contributions from the entire QA and quickly address concerns.
- Building & nurturing collaborative relationships within QA, as well as with Product Development, App Design and Engineering is essential.
- Follow best practices, test standards, protocols, and guidelines.
- Succeeding in this position will require balancing sometimes conflicting priorities while also delivering top- tier service for clients.
- As part of daily operations, you will own the process of supporting various release cycles, ensuring application bugs are reported and fixed early in the development cycle and releasing bug free, consistent, and reliable software applications to our clients.
- Good communication skill to conduct defect triage calls.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering or Computer Science or Management. Relevant professional certifications
- 8-10 years experience candidates with Corporate banking experience having strong hands-on functional/SME testing experience on Oracle Banking product like OBDX, OBP, OBLM, OBVAM + Flexcube is must.
- Corporate Banking transaction flow (Fund Transfers , Cross Border Fund Transfer) knowledge is mandatory
- Host to Host File upload, Salary, Vendor, Utility Payments
- OBDX or FCDB experience
- Corporate Onboarding, Workflow Management and Rules
- Product / transaction flow knowledge for GCC entities would be added advantage
- Liquidity Management, Creating Structures, Validating Charges, Interest post EOD process
- Virtual Account Management
- Strong Testing Skills includes SQL, Test design, Test Plan, Test Strategy, Interface testing, Defect reporting, Defect Triage and Defect Management
Good to have skills:
- Functional experience of corporate trade finance, cash/liquidity management, supply chain finance and digital banking.
- Test Management experience covering both functional and automation testing of Oracle banking latest modules OBDX, OBTFPM and OBTF
