Job Summary

Job Responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders to develop long-range plans, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly forecast files and explain variances.
  • Understand key business drivers.
  • Perform headcount planning and tracking.
  • Build financial models.
  • Create management reports and track KPIs.
  • Analyze data to solve problems, evaluate scenarios, and support decision-making.
  • Interpret results using various techniques.
  • Provide insights on financial performance of business areas.
  • Identify business risks and opportunities.
  • Improve financial status by analyzing results and recommending actions.
  • Manage and drive the month-end close process.
  • Ensure accurate accrual computations.
  • Analyze journals and reduce non-standard journals.
  • Automate accrual calculations and postings (where possible).
  • Ensure compliance with financial guidelines and company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with teams and business partners.

Qualifications

  • CA or MBA with a bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent military experience (required).
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A in a large US MNC (required).
  • Experience with SAP or large ERP systems (a plus).
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (required).
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of finance, basic accounting, and business analysis.
  • Ability to independently analyze financial information and develop solutions.
  • Excellent multitasking, organization, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with strong collaboration skills.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Energetic and positive attitude.
