Job Summary

Roles and Responsibilities

Review and analyze system specifications
Collaborate with the developer s team to develop effective strategies and test plans
Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
Evaluate product code according to specifications
Create logs to document testing phases and defects
Report bugs and errors to development teams
Help troubleshoot issues
Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate must have 3+ years of work experience and a bachelor s/master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Applications, or other relevant fields. We are looking for professionals with the following attributes:

Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
Experience in project management and QA methodology
Experience using web-based and mobile testing frameworks (ex: Selenium WebDriver)
Experience using project tracking software will be considered a strong asset (ex: JIRA)
Experience using version control systems (ex: Git or Mercurial) would be considered an asset
Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. qTest, Zephyr) and SQL
Excellent communication skills
JIRA Working experience in Agile / Sprints.

Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
Strong organizational skills
