Job Summary
  • Work out detail Engineering, Assembly creation and Release process
  • Knowledge of Team Center / TCUA, Part, Module and DML activity.
  • Knowledge of Plastic parts, Engineering features, Molding Process, Tooling direction, Tool creation, and defects in plastics parts
  • Creating closed volume i.e Surface A, Surface B and Surface C, feature mounting, and consideration of defects in plastics.
  • Plastic Part Draft analysis, Radius analysis, thickness analysis and Curvature analysis.
  • Hands-on Automotive Design in Door Panel Ip, Console, Pillar, Soft trim, and cockpit.
  • Expertise in Plastic Component Design and knowledge and understanding of tooling
  • Concept creation, Master section Creation, Defining the split line
  • Must have good CATIA skills. Must be proficient in Surfacing, Solid Modeling, Drafting workbench and Engineering Data management.
  • Must be aware of fixation and locator concepts. 3 2 -1 assembly principle. Basic awareness of the RPS concept would be an added advantage.
  • Team Centre knowledge, PLM
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Tooling & Manufacturing processes
  • Willing to work at various levels in the organization as per project requirements.
  • Creating Engineering Master sections
  • Concept design, macro feasibility during styling stage.
  • CAD modelling and 3D annotations ofplastic components and assemblies ensure timely delivery at every milestone as per the Project time plan
  • Good knowledge of GD&T, strong hands-on experience in CAD software
  • Knowledge of spot welding (AB3)
  • Software expertise, surface modelling, assembly modelling, 3D annotations interaction, in solid.
  • Basic understanding ofengineering processes like DFMEA, DVP, DFM, DFA and DFS etc.
  • Should also have good presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of Vehicle and Engineering BOM.
