Senior Automation Engineer (scripting) Job in Opsramp

What we are looking for

Technical Experience

• Scripting experience with automating processes and deployments using tools such as scripting (shell, bash, python, perl, etc.)
• In-depth technical knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in scripting using VBScript, PowerShell, and WMI, perl, shell scripting in csh/ksh/bourne shells.
• Should have knowledge in orchestration tools like Puppet/Chef/Ansible/Terraform
• Knowledge on Cloud technologies AWS/Azure/GCP
• Knowledge on Cloud Native (Dockers/Kubernetes)
• Knowledge on Rest/SOAP API/Webhook
• Should have Programming experience in SQL
• Knowledge of database architecture and design
• Ability to interpret written requirements and technical specification documents
• Must be able to write re-usable code for components/libraries.
• Operating System
• Linux, Windows Platforms and other Unix flavors (AIX/HP/UX)
• Strong Understanding of operating system, database and networking protocols.
• Research, architect, design and implement best in class scripting
• Analyze use cases and requirements to design secure and scalable scripts
• System management and automation scripts (using PowerShell, WMI, VBScript, Shell, Perl etc.).
• Collaborate with front-end engineers / shared services team to orchestrate/build services/ develop REST APIs for scalable user-friendly interfaces.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement a complex enterprise solution.
• Willing to Travel for Customer facing engagements
• Good Communication verbal and written communication skills
