Job Description
We are looking for a Digital Marketer with solid digital marketing and lead generation experience. The candidate must be self-motivated, a go-getter, and an out-of-the-box thinker, willing to develop, implement, and manage marketing campaigns promoting the organization's services. They must enhance brand awareness, drive web traffic, and acquire leads/customers while managing the website. They must manage and maintain the website's functionality, optimization, appearance, content, and performance. The candidate must demonstrate a high level of ownership, integrity and creativity.
Key Responsibilities
Technical SEO:
- On-page optimization: Conduct keyword research, optimize title tags, meta descriptions, header tags, image alt text, and internal linking.
- Technical audits: Perform regular technical audits to identify and address issues such as broken links, crawl errors, and mobile responsiveness.
- XML sitemap creation and submission: Create and submit XML sitemaps to search engines to improve discoverability.
- Schema markup implementation: Implement schema markup to enhance search engine understanding of content and improve rich snippets.
Off-page SEO:
- Link building: Develop and implement link building strategies, including guest posting, outreach, and broken link building.
- Local SEO: Optimize for local search by creating and managing Google My Business listings, local citations, and directory listings.
Analytics, Performance and Reporting:
- Web analytics and performance: Use tools like Google Analytics and Search Console to track website traffic, user behavior, and conversions.
- Keyword ranking tracking: Monitor keyword rankings and track progress over time.
- Performance analysis: Analyze campaign performance metrics, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
Social Media Marketing:
- Create and implement a strategy to engage the target audience via social media and achieve business goals.
- Oversee day-to-day social media operations, including content scheduling, publishing, and community management.
- Analyze and report on performance: Track key metrics, analyze campaign results, and provide data-driven insights.
- Stay up-to-date on trends: Stay informed about the latest social media trends and best practices.
- Community management: Monitor and respond to social media comments and messages, fostering a positive online community.
Lead Generation:
- Run paid campaigns: Plan, execute, and optimize paid advertising efforts.
- Analyze and report: Track performance metrics, analyze results, and provide insights.
- Generate leads: Utilize social media tactics, email campaigns to capture leads and drive conversions.
Good to have
- Excellent command over English
- Knowledge of direct marketing activities
- Understanding of market segmentation, customer personas, and improving marketingprocesses accordingly
- Market research skills
- Experience in building and managing websites with Drupal
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and PHP
- Experience in setting up and optimizing PPC campaigns on all major search engines
- Experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage,inform, and motivate
- Knowledge of automation workflows and interactive tools like chatbots
- Knowledge of web hosting services
- Hands-on experience in social media automation platforms and knowledge of basic social media hygiene practices.
