Job SummaryMDM Architect supports the comprehensive high-level design and architecture, functionality, for one or more Master Data Management data subject areas and Reference Data Management. This position works closely with the global MDM leads, Olam SAP and ERP technical teams, SI team, and key business stakeholders to determine requirements related to master data and reference master data. The role and reporting team will be mainly based in Chennai.
Job Description- Defines the overall MDM solution, sets delivery guidelines, prepares and reviews detailed designs for accuracy and overall compliance to defined solution Determines how the solution will be implemented based on the Solution Design Documentation
- Conducts architectural analysis and evaluation of business processes. Finalize validation strategy
- Supports the creation of the object model and the UI definition
- Brings Industry and Domain Best Practices and Methodologies in Master Data Management, Data Governance, Data Management, Integrations, Business Intelligence and Analytics
- Implements Master data solutions across multiple source systems, regions, languages, business lines and functions in a large organization
- Guides business stakeholders and technology teams to envision, design and develop strategies for Master Data Management implementation, governance, roll outs etc.
- Validates the design and implementation of the overall Infrastructure and performs the build and maintenance of the environments. Designs and plans testing for the impact assessment of the solution functionality
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Computer Science/Applications with 10+ years of experience with minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience in the Master Data Management space
- Ideally from a Consulting, Delivery background. Semarchy MDG experience preferred.
- Extensive experience in the use of Waterfall, Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Experienced in implementing Enterprise Master Data Management for Customer, Product, Vendor, Material Master
- Well versed with Data consolidation/ ETL, Data Quality, Data Enrichment (D&B), Data Security, Data Governance and Data Harmonization concepts, practices and their implementation
- Expertise with MDM implementation styles, data models, party relationships, matching rules, trust frameworks, complex hierarchy relationship management, organization hierarchy, and data governance
